Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cletis Donahue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jay Z - Empire State Of Mind. Cletis Donahue has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cletis Donahue!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donahue throws a leg kick but Scott checks it.
A swing and a miss from Donahue.
Scott lands with an overhand left.
Donahue swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Donahue misses with a looping right.
Scott scores with a hook to the body. Donahue takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Scott shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Scott looking to pass the guard.
Donahue is trying to keep Scott in close.
Donahue is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Scott advances position into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Donahue is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Scott has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Scott is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Donahue knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Scott sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Donahue is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Donahue is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Scott will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Scott tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Scott has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Scott thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Scott is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Donahue looks calm but he's in trouble here. Scott gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Donahue is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Scott lets go of the hold and Donahue can pop his arm back in it's socket.
