The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marco keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Wilder shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Marco as he jumps to the side.
A head kick misses from Wilder.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wilder.
Elijah Marco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucien Wilder.
Wilder shoots in looking for a takedown. Marco tries to sprawl out of it but Wilder keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marco manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marco shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wilder sprawls well. Wilder wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marco gets slowly back to his feet.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Wilder takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Wilder is still in real trouble! Can Marco finish him?
