Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vidar Strom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduardo Tchau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eduardo Tchau will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strom fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Tchau has managed to clinch.

Strom escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Strom circles away from the clinch attempt.
Strom tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tchau swivels and escapes.
Strom swats away the attempt to clinch by Tchau .
Strom looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Tchau rushes Strom and presses him up against the cage.
Tchau using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Strom has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Tchau managing to block the knees to the body from Strom.
Strom gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Tchau .
Tchau jumps guard but Strom stands there with Tchau around his waist. Tchau gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Strom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Strom shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Strom stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Tchau throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Strom throws a sloppy head kick and Tchau moves out of range easily.
Strom looks to land a combination but Tchau avoids it well.
Vidar Strom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tchau tries to clinch there but Strom circles away.
Tchau feints and then cracks Strom's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Strom down.
No luck for Strom with that takedown attempt.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vidar Strom. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Strom shoots in looking for a takedown. Tchau tries to sprawl out of it but Strom keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tchau manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Strom will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tchau tries to clinch but Strom is having none of it.
