Bison Theme as his entrance music. Mike Bison will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bison misses with a two punch combination.
Bison scores with a body shot.
Bison lands the left hand.
Rivera walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bison looks for the body kick but Rivera saw that one coming.

Bison throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bison throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bison misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bison throws a one two combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rivera shoots in for a takedown but Bison shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bison throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bison.
Mike Bison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bison jabs Rivera to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Mike Bison is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crunch! Bison slams his shin into Rivera's torso.
Rivera is breathing heavily.
Bison shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rivera eats them both and turns towards Bison to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Bison lands a jab to the nose.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rivera takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bison thuds his right hand into Rivera's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Bison throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rivera.
Bison lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
BOOM! Bison lands a beautiful left hook that drops Rivera. Rivera tries to recover but Bison is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Rivera lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
