Fotoberg is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mama said Knock you out. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jager Bomb!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mats Fotoberg!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomb misses with a telegraphed body shot
enabling Fotoberg to counter with a crisp jab.
Fotoberg connects with a single shot there.
Bomb ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fotoberg moves away.
Fotoberg thuds a left hand into Bomb's body.
Fotoberg misses with a jab to the body
and Bomb counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fotoberg thinking.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fotoberg. Bomb does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mats Fotoberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fotoberg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bomb.
Bomb throws a jab when Fotoberg was well out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fotoberg walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bomb checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Bomb has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bomb seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Fotoberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bomb. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Fotoberg fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fotoberg throws a sloppy body shot
and Bomb counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bomb lands a jab to Fotoberg's midsection.
Bomb connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Bomb tries to bum rush Fotoberg with a series of wild strikes but Fotoberg uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fotoberg closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Bomb throws a good cross that connects.
Bomb throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fighters circling - Fotoberg throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fotoberg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd cheers as Bomb lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fotoberg doesn't seem phased though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Bomb throws a shot from downtown. Fotoberg moves away and avoids it.
Bomb loads up on a big right hand but Fotoberg slips the punch.
Bomb avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Fotoberg counters with a two punch combo.
Fotoberg circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fotoberg throws out a powerful jab.
Fotoberg misses with a double jab
and Bomb counters with a series of strikes. Fotoberg will be more careful next time no doubt.
Fotoberg tries to clinch up but Bomb circles away and keeps his distance.
Bomb misses with a wild body shot.
Fotoberg defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bomb.
A jab lands there for Fotoberg.

A big left from Bomb misses.
Bomb throws a lazy uppercut
and Fotoberg counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Fotoberg is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Fotoberg misses the jab.
Fotoberg comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bomb shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fotoberg sprawls well. Fotoberg wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bomb gets slowly back to his feet.

and Bomb counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Fotoberg!
Bomb is landing with some decent strikes but Fotoberg is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Fotoberg is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bomb lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Bomb! Fotoberg is hurt baaadly! Bomb is firing away with more strikes - Fotoberg is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
