Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Great Tonying!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jarkko Jyrays!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jyrays looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Tonying scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jyrays doesn't seem bothered though.
Jyrays is looking to clinch but Tonying is avoiding it.
Tonying tries to land a leg kick but Jyrays saw it coming and moves away.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tonying, as that shot connected.
Tonying lands a head shot.
A low kick from Jyrays misses
and Tonying counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice body punch from Tonying.
Jyrays looks gassed!
Jyrays on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Tonying darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Tonying finds Jyrays's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Jyrays flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Tonying lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Jyrays will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). The Great Tonying!
