Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sparring Partner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Stanley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sparring Partner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Stanley!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanley swats away the attempt to clinch by Partner.
The fighters circling - Partner throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sparring Partner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stanley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Partner tries for a takedown but Stanley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Partner closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Partner lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Partner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Partner throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sparring Partner.
I think Partner has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
