Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Atlas MacDowell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Edgaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacDowell comes to the ring accompanied by Face The Pain. Edgaar has chosen Undead as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgaar misses with a two punch combination.
Edgaar swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Edgaar throws a hook but MacDowell avoids it easily.
Edgaar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

MacDowell shoots in and gets a takedown into Edgaar's guard.
MacDowell wants to pass the guard but Edgaar is keeping the position.

MacDowell advances position into side control!
MacDowell looks up at the clock and then as Edgaar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, MacDowell smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Edgaar looks to move to half guard but instead MacDowell has passed into mount! Damn!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
MacDowell takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Edgaar tries to reverse the position but MacDowell maintains control.

MacDowell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Edgaar on the ground.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, MacDowell cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

MacDowell unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Edgaar wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! MacDowell celebrates on the ropes and the crowd goes wild!
