The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Modaal misses with a looping right.
Bishop swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bishop lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Modaal backs up against the cage.

Modaal closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bishop did well to prevent Modaal getting side control.
Modaal frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Modaal fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Modaal has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bishop's face.
BOOM! Modaal connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Bishop is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bishop is desperately trying to improve his position but Modaal has a good base and remains in mount.
Oh Bishop is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The referee warns Bishop that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
A big strike lands for Modaal! That's really hurt Bishop and he's turned his back - Modaal keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Modaal jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
