Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haley showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Portman.
Haley slips a jab and a cross from Portman.
Haley is looking to clinch.
Portman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Portman misses with a series of wild punches.
Portman lands the left hand.
Portman misses with a wild combination.
Haley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jab by Portman.
Haley tries to close the distance and clinch but Portman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Portman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Haley shoots in for a takedown but Portman shows good takedown defense.
Portman misses with a few strikes there.
Portman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Portman looks to land a combination but Haley avoids it well.
Portman lands a right hook to the body.
Haley shoots for a takedown but Portman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Portman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The crowd cheers as Portman lands an impressive looking overhand right. Haley doesn't seem phased though.
Dean Portman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Haley misses with a double jab.
Portman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Haley.
Portman throws a series of strikes that have Haley backpedaling.
Haley shoots in but Portman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hayden Haley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sloppy strikes from Portman. Those never looked like landing.
Portman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Portman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Haley.
Portman scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Portman throws a leg kick but Haley sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Portman ducks under a wild hook from Haley.
Haley shoots in and drives through. Portman sprawls well.
Haley drops his hands momentarily and Portman takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Portman connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Haley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Portman pinned against the cage. Portman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Haley is breathing heavily.
Portman scores with a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Portman throws a combination. Haley tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Haley. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Portman lands with a right that hurts Haley. Haley looks to clinch but Portman throws a short knee that drops Haley. This one is all over!
