The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beschastnykh shoots in for a takedown but Black shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Black fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beschastnykh manages to avoid it.
Black throws a series of punches but Beschastnykh avoids them all with ease.

Black throws an overhand right that lands on Beschastnykh's shoulder, as Beschastnykh tries to avoid the shot.
Beschastnykh ducks under a wild hook from Black.

Black stands up from mount. Strange move.
Black closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jack Black has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Black wants to lay and pray for a moment but Beschastnykh keeps working.
Black passes the guard and advances to mount!
Black is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Beschastnykh to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Beschastnykh shrugs it off.
Black gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Black misses the jab.
Black is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Beschastnykh rather than just go for the knockout.
Beschastnykh doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Black counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Beschastnykh's guard now.
Black tries to free his leg and advance position but Beschastnykh is retaining full guard.
Black is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Black wants to stand but Beschastnykh has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Black stands and steps away. Beschastnykh gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Black feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Black's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Black is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Beschastnykh is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Beschastnykh has escaped and now he's on top!
And that's the end of the fight!
Jack Black comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Beschastnykh has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
