Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ace Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Payne is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: RATM - Killing In The Name Of. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delgado takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Payne leaves Delgado with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Payne lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Delgado shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Payne's guard.
Delgado might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Payne fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Delgado, pushing him back against the cage.

Delgado changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Payne tries to avoid it but Delgado manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Payne to the ground. Payne escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Payne, as that shot connected.
Payne is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Delgado is rocked!


It looks like Ace Delgado has been cut.

Payne moves into the clinch successfully.

Payne tightens his grip and picks Delgado up, before dumping him to the ground. Delgado manages to land in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Max Payne dominated that round.

Payne breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Payne shoots in for a double leg but Delgado sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Payne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Delgado. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Delgado gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Payne got a little sloppy there for a moment and Delgado has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Payne has managed to get both his arms back between Delgado's legs - danger averted.

Payne dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Delgado. That did some damage!
That kick from Payne tenderised Delgado's leg. Delgado is trying to keep his angry face on.

Payne looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Delgado with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Max Payne comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Payne has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
