The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaginho fails with the takedown.
Rolf Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson scores with a hook.
Zaginho looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jackson slaps away a takedown attempt from Zaginho, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A left lands for Jackson.
Jackson scores with the left hand. Zaginho knows he should have avoided that one.
Zaginho takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jackson.
Nice uppercut lands for Jackson. That snapped Zaginho's head back.
Zaginho moves forwards but Jackson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jackson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Zaginho is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice straight punches there by Jackson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jackson.
Zaginho is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
Jackson scores with a hook.
Jackson lands with a good body shot.
Jackson lands a nice hook to Zaginho's body. Zaginho takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Zaginho seems to have recovered his senses.
Zaginho looks gassed!
Zaginho takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zaginho gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jackson closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Zaginho! Jackson dives in looking to finish! Zaginho is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rolf Jackson!
