The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strange leaves Miller with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Miller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Strange sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miller somewhat.

Strange shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Strange showed some decent athleticism there.
Miller keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Strange not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Strange performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Strange throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Strange thows a huge punch but Miller dodges it nicely.
Miller pushes Strange off looking to stand but Strange dives back in and keeps control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Miller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Strange counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Miller shoots in and bounces Strange off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Strange lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Miller!
Strange pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Strange seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Miller for as long as he can get away with.
