Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kodarc Beastmaster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Richard James!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beastmaster clinches up with James and pushes him back against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Beastmaster.


It looks like Richard James has been cut.
Beastmaster drops down looking for an ankle pick but James pulls his leg out and moves away.

This has been an exciting period of action!

James working the strikes but Beastmaster uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

James thows a huge punch but Beastmaster dodges it nicely.
James is stalling here. Beastmaster is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! James seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Beastmaster has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Beastmaster misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Beastmaster seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down James for as long as he can get away with.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Beastmaster creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

James escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
James throws a right hand that Beastmaster ducks under and follows up with a left that Beastmaster also avoids with ease.

James clobbers Beastmaster with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
