The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westgate bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Westgate misses with a straight left.

Labayen has closed the distance and engaged Westgate in a clinch.
Labayen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Westgate just stands there and leans against the cage.
Labayen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Labayen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Westgate pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Labayen tries a body shot but Westgate blocks it.

Labayen manages to break the clinch.
Westgate throws a series of punches but Labayen moves out of range.
Labayen cracks the inside of Westgate's front leg.
Labayen lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Labayen misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Labayen gets full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Labayen is on top in guard.

Labayen is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Westgate is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Westgate has escaped and now he's on top!

Westgate trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Westgate really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Labayen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Labayen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Westgate is aware though and is defending well.
Labayen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Labayen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Westgate is one step ahead there.

Westgate wants to stand but Labayen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Labayen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Westgate lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Labayen backs up against the cage.

It looks like Caloy Labayen has been cut.

Labayen closes the distance and clinches.
Come on Labayen - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Labayen pulls guard effortlessly.

Labayen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Westgate defends it easily.

Labayen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Labayen has his foot on Westgate's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Westgate works his way back into a safe position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Caloy Labayen will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Westgate misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Labayen fails with a takedown attempt.
Labayen lands with a nice body punch.
Labayen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Westgate tries to avoid it but Labayen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Westgate to the ground. Westgate escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Westgate jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Westgate stuffs the takedown attempt from Labayen. Labayen gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caloy Labayen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Labayen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Westgate avoids it really well and circles away.
Labayen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Westgate moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Caloy Labayen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Labayen takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Westgate misses with a wild combination.

Labayen slips a straight right by Westgate.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Oooooh!!! Westgate has knocked Labayen down with a huge combo! Westgate steps away and waves a wobbly Labayen back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Labayen is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Westgate throws an uppercut from hell that sends Labayen clean off his feet! He's out cold! Westgate stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
