Silva comes to the ring accompanied by Bullet For My Valentine - Your Betrayal . The key to victory for Adam Silva has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Gomi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gomi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.
Gomi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gomi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gomi lands with an overhand left.
Silva showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gomi.
Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Gomi circles away.
Gomi lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Gomi throws a series of punches but Silva moves out of range.

Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Silva fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gomi, pushing him back against the ropes.

It looks like Takanori Gomi has been cut.

Gomi is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Silva gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Silva keeps control of Gomi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Gomi manages to get his head free but now Silva has transitioned to an armbar! Gomi grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Silva! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
