Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Myrney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincente da Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vincente da Rocha will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Myrney has da Rocha up against the cage in a clinch.
da Rocha has had enough of the clinch but Myrney keeps him there for the moment.

Myrney jumps guard and drags da Rocha to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Myrney scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.

Myrney manages to escape and get back to his feet.
da Rocha tries to clinch but Myrney moves away

and Myrney counters with a takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on da Rocha's face as Myrney controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Myrney stands up and we're back to a striking position.
da Rocha wants to clinch up but Myrney keeps it at a distance.
A punch combination from Myrney misses.

Myrney scores a takedown into full mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
BOOM! Myrney connects with a massive shot to the dome!
da Rocha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Myrney. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

da Rocha is in all sorts of trouble here.

da Rocha tries to hold on but Myrney pushes him away.
Myrney lands with some strikes.
Myrney sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
da Rocha is bucking up trying to escape but Myrney cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

da Rocha is trying to reverse the position but instead Myrney has taken his back - oops!
Myrney slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
da Rocha is really stuck here.

Myrney working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. da Rocha is doing well to defend. Myrney seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! da Rocha is forced to tap and this one is over!
