Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Stillwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waters's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Skillet Monster. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Thomas Stillwell!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stillwell digs a good body shot into Waters's ribs.
Stillwell slips under a jab from Waters.
Stillwell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stillwell scores with a sloppy right hand. Waters should have avoided that one.
Waters misses with an uppercut. Stillwell saw that one coming.
Some wild striking there from Stillwell.
Stillwell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Waters jabs Stillwell to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Stillwell shoots for a takedown but Waters saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Waters connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Stillwell steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Waters.
Stillwell moves out of range of the strikes.

Waters feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Stillwell sprawling to the canvas! Stillwell rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Waters finish him?!

It looks like Thomas Stillwell has been cut.

Waters throws a looping overhand right but Stillwell ducks down to avoid it.

Waters throws a hook to the side of Stillwell's head but Stillwell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Waters is refusing to be controlled, as Stillwell sits in half guard.
Waters is trying to control but can't.

Waters wants to stand up but Stillwell is controlling him.
Waters knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stillwell on the ground.
Waters is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Stillwell dives into side control.

Stillwell is trying to get an arm triangle but Waters is defending well.
Stillwell is trying to ground and pound but Waters uses the momentary lack of control by Stillwell to regain half guard.
Stillwell not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Stillwell has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Stillwell wants to pass to mount but Waters is defending the position.
Waters is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Waters is trying to control but can't.

Stillwell is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Stillwell seems to be working for a kimura but Waters defends the submission attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Stillwell slips under a jab from Waters.
Stillwell stalks Waters and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Waters's face. Waters staggers backwards, shaken.
Waters throws the left hand but Stillwell avoids the punch easily.
Waters is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Stillwell's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Waters uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stillwell has time to react.
Thomas Stillwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Waters misses with an uppercut.
Waters has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Stillwell.
Thomas Stillwell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stillwell scores with a body shot.
Stillwell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Waters is fending him off so far but Stillwell persists. Nope, Waters circles away and we're back to standing.
Waters swings for the body but Stillwell moves out of range.
Waters takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Stillwell ducks under a wild hook from Waters.
Waters throws a jab but it's blocked by Stillwell.
A cross from Stillwell lands.
Stillwell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Waters but Waters pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Stillwell throws a sloppy body shot
enabling Waters to counter with a crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stillwell falls off balance throwing a combination
and Waters scores with a counter punch that sends Stillwell to the canvas! Waters smells blood - he's punishing Stillwell with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Stillwell has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Waters!
