The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chest misses with a few strikes there.
Chest stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chest wants it to stay on the feet.
Chest throws a right and a left that both miss.
Some wild striking there from Chest.
Chest throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Couture.
Chest steps into range and cracks Couture with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Couture flops backwards and Chest dives into his guard looking to finish!
Couture is rocked!
It looks like Ryan Couture has been cut.
Couture is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Couture is still in real trouble! Can Chest finish him?
Chest working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Couture seems to have recovered his senses.
Couture is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chest is controlling him.
Chest makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Chest cracks Couture with a solid left hand.
Couture wants to stand up but Chest is controlling him.

Chest working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Couture's head.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Chest won't allow Couture to sweep him here.
Couture looks gassed!
Chest tries to free his leg and advance position but Couture is retaining full guard.

Chest is looking to work some ground and pound but Couture has wrist control.
Chest throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Chest cracks Couture with a solid left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chest preventing the sweep.
Couture has momentary wrist control but Chest slips an elbow through the middle.
Chest trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Couture can't keep his opponent in guard - Chest advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chest connects with a nice short shot to Couture's temple.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chest winds up and cracks Couture with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Couture is rocked!
Chest lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Couture quite badly. Couture pulls Chest in close trying to recover. Chest postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Couture on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Couture doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dick Chest!
