Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pajanen fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Holden checks it well.
Holden keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pajanen just misses with a punch to the body.
Pajanen misses with a wild body shot.
Holden bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Holden is looking to take a break and control but Pajanen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Pajanen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Pajanen is trying to escape the position but Holden is controlling the position.

Pajanen is not content to let Holden control the position.
Pajanen is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pajanen can do anything to dispel that myth.
Holden wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pajanen keeps working.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Holden has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Pajanen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pajanen tries to lock up and control but Holden gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Pajanen tries to control Holden's body but Holden pushes him off. Pajanen squirms to his side and now Holden has his back!
Pajanen looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Holden keeps control of the position easily here as Pajanen tries to buck him off.
Holden tries to keep control of the position but Pajanen is staying busy.
Holden looking to break Pajanen's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Pajanen remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Holden will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pajanen looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Holden is controlling the position but Pajanen somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Holden wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pajanen keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Holden fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pajanen moves into the clinch.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Pajanen works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Holden wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Pajanen manages to break the clinch.
Pajanen misses with a wild body shot.
A swing and a miss from Pajanen.
Holden moves out of range of the strikes.
Pajanen loads up on a big right hand but Holden slips the punch.
Holden is looking to land body kicks.
Holden slips under a jab.

Holden tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Pajanen counters with a leg kick.
Pajanen pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Holden fails with the takedown
and Pajanen counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Pajanen slows the pace down in half guard.
Pajanen stalling away here and it's allowed Holden to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Pajanen wants to control from the top but Holden keeps moving.

Holden is working an open guard so Pajanen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Pajanen misses with a wild body shot.
Holden takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pajanen throws out a leg kick but Holden moves out of range and Pajanen only half commits.
Holden blocks a jab.
Pajanen misses with an uppercut.
Holden wants to clinch but Pajanen slips to the side
and Pajanen counters with a crisp one two that drops Holden! Pajanen thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Holden to his feet! Holden is in big trouble!
Holden is rocked!

Holden slips under a jab.
Oh Holden is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Holden misses with a takedown
and Pajanen counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jesse Pajanen!
