Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ezio Auditore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ezio Auditore has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Brown tries to clinch there but Auditore circles away.

Auditore drops Brown with a beautiful combination! Brown stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Auditore is looking for the KO!

It looks like James Brown has been cut.

Auditore shoots in and gets a takedown into Brown's guard.
Brown wants to get back to his feet but Auditore is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Auditore gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Brown blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Auditore jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brown walks away with a smile on his face. Auditore gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Auditore lands with a kick to the temple. Brown shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Auditore swings around for an armbar but Brown sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Auditore's guard.
Auditore on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Auditore tries to get out of the position.

Auditore wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Auditore has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Auditore postures up in Brown's guard and throws a big left but Brown blocks it.

Auditore is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Auditore not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, if Auditore is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Auditore is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brown can do to turn this around?

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Auditore throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Auditore drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Auditore drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Auditore as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Brown screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Auditore! Nice submission victory there!
