Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Malapitan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Drogba dives on top into guard.

Drogba drops back, looking for a kneebar! Malapitan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Malapitan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Malapitan!
Drogba is trying to control Malapitan's posture but Malapitan avoids it.

Drogba cracks Malapitan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Malapitan is desperately trying to improve his position but Drogba has a good base and remains in mount.

Malapitan bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Drogba seems keen to control Malapitan's posture.
Drogba wants to get back to his feet but Malapitan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Drogba is nestled in close to Malapitan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Drogba! Malapitan is hurt baaadly! Drogba is firing away with more strikes - Malapitan is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
