The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cayro gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Left hook, right uppercut from The Chode.

It looks like Calvin Cayro has been cut.
Cayro walks into a straight right hand from The Chode.

The Chode fails to land with a series of punches.

The Chode leaves Cayro with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The fighters circling - The Chode throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The Chode lands a jab to Cayro's midsection.
The Chode throws a hook to the side of Cayro's head but Cayro sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The Chode scores with a nice strike.

Cayro fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. The Chode sprawls well initially but Cayro persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Cayro is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so The Chode is just riding it out for now. Cayro eventually gives up the hold.
