Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Overdrive (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markku Osteri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Osteri has chosen Rolling Stones - Symphaty For The Devil as his entrance music. Markku Osteri is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Overdrive.
Overdrive throws a lazy right hand but Osteri sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Osteri fails to pull guard.
Osteri can't get the takedown.
Overdrive tries to circle away but Osteri has him pinned against the cage.
Osteri lands a right hand.
Overdrive gets underhooks to prevent Osteri's takedown attempt.
Maximus Overdrive has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Markku Osteri.
Overdrive is trying to force a seperation but Osteri has the dominant position.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Overdrive manages to break the clinch.
Osteri lunges at Overdrive with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Overdrive's hand.
Overdrive throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Osteri thuds his right hand into Overdrive's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Overdrive keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Osteri.
Osteri gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Osteri cracks a nice hook into Overdrive's ribs.

Osteri closes the distance and clinches.
Osteri tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Overdrive just stands there and leans against the cage.
Overdrive lands a body punch in the clinch.
Osteri drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Overdrive gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Overdrive's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Osteri throws out a powerful jab.
Overdrive uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Osteri.
The fighters circling - Osteri throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Osteri on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Osteri tries to close the distance and clinch up but Overdrive swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Maximus Overdrive seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Osteri lands a jab to the nose.
The fighters circle momentarily. Overdrive darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Overdrive cracks Osteri with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Overdrive looks to throw the jab but Osteri is out of range.

Osteri takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Osteri avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
No joy there for Overdrive, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Osteri ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Osteri takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Overdrive looks to throw the jab but Osteri is out of range.

Overdrive throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Osteri fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Osteri shoots in for a takedown but Overdrive shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Overdrive is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Overdrive jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Osteri tries to move into range but Overdrive moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Maximus Overdrive is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Osteri counters with a stiff right hand.
Osteri steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Overdrive.
Overdrive lunges at Osteri with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Osteri's hand.

Osteri shoots in and drives through. Overdrive sprawls well.
Overdrive missing with a left hand there. Osteri was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

This time Osteri falls down and Overdrive dives in with a huge hammer fist! Osteri's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Overdrive runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
