Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reis comes into the arena with Master Of Puppets blaring out of the sound system. Rodrigo Reis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paulo Kang!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kang moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Reis takes a jab right on the kisser.

Reis tries to close the distance and clinch but Kang swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Reis takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Reis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kang has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kang and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rodrigo Reis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kang's jab looks to have found its range, popping Reis under the eye.
Kang lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Kang cracks a nice hook into Reis's ribs.
Kang darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Kang lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kang is working the combinations to good effect here.
Kang looks to land a combination but Reis avoids it well.

Well Kang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
