The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smalls shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Regueiro napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Smalls working the ground and pound.
Regueiro wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Regueiro tries to buck Smalls off but Smalls is having none of it.
Regueiro stops Smalls from passing to mount.
Regueiro is trying to get back to half guard.
Smalls has control of an arm but Regueiro manages to advance to Smalls's back!
Regueiro cracks Smalls with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Smalls from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
