The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Opasen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cavalli but Cavalli pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Cavalli gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Opasen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Opasen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Opasen advances position into side control!

Opasen has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Cavalli is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Opasen yanks on the arm and Cavalli is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Opasen.
