The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karim shoots for a double leg takedown but Ardonia sprawls well. He's pushed Karim's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Karim is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ardonia sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ardonia fails to land with a series of punches.
Ardonia looks to land a combination. Karim sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Karim tries to clinch up.
Ardonia lands a two punch combo.
Karim dives in and grabs Ardonia's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ardonia pushes down on Karim's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mat Karim. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ardonia cracks Karim with a good jab.

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Ardonia moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Karim! Ardonia continues to tee off on Karim, landing with a left and a right! Ardonia connects with a right hand that leaves Karim sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Ardonia!
