Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Learmont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Fick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Learmont's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Snoop Dogg and Young Jeezy - Wannabes. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fick fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Learmont avoids it really well and circles away.
Learmont drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Learmont gets to his feet. Fick looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Fick gets tackled into the cage by Learmont. Learmont maintains the clinch.
Learmont on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Learmont lands a takedown into guard.
Learmont working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fick's head.
Fick trying to keep a closed guard but Learmont is proving a slippery customer.
Learmont distracts Fick with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Fick looking for a sweep. Not yet Fick, not yet.

Fick has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Learmont has passed into side control.

Learmont in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Learmont has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Fick is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Learmont yanks on the arm and Fick is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Learmont.
