Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Nobis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bernard Freeley!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Freeley. Those never looked like landing.
Nobis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Freeley sprawls well. Freeley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nobis gets slowly back to his feet.
Nobis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Nobis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nobis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Freeley was well out of range. Poor timing from Nobis.

Nobis tries to bum rush Freeley with a series of wild strikes but Freeley uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Freeley closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Nobis quickly recovers to half guard.

Freeley is stalling here. Nobis is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Freeley seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Nobis has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Nobis dives in and grabs Freeley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Freeley pushes down on Nobis's head and hops out.

Nobis wants to work for an arm triangle but Freeley is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Nobis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Freeley defends it well.
Nobis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Nobis is trying to control the action in half guard but Freeley is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Nobis is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Freeley is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
