Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wro Tump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Wiggin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wro Tump!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Wiggin!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wiggin feints and as Tump raises his hands in defense, Wiggin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tump looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Wiggin passes into side control.
Tump regains half guard.
Tump is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Tump looking for submissions off his back.
Wiggin is controlling the pace.
Wiggin wants to stand up but Tump is controlling the position.

Tump actively working from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tump tries to get to full guard but Wiggin has control of the leg.

Wiggin slows the pace down in half guard.

Wiggin is trying to work for a kimura but Tump is defending well.

Wiggin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Wiggin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Wiggin wanted to stand there but Tump had control of the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tump lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Tump misses with an attempted mid kick.
Tump thuds his shin into the meat of Wiggin's side.
Tump throws a leg kick but Wiggin moved away.
Tump is looking to land body kicks.
Tump thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Wiggin if he has to take too many more of those.
Wiggin tries a head kick but it misses.
Tump lands a head kick. Wiggin smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Tump goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Tump tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Wiggin is able to avoid easily.
Wro Tump seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wiggin pushes Tump away with a front kick.
Wiggin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tump as he avoids it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tump tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Wiggin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tump sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Wro Tump has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Wiggin.
Tump displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wiggin.

Wiggin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
It looks like Wiggin is going to stand back up.

Wiggin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Wiggin counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Tump is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Tump tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Wiggin is able to avoid easily.

Tump connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Wiggin drives through and clinches with Tump against the cage.

Tump tries to pull guard but Wiggin won't allow it.

Wiggin has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Tump is trying to keep an underhook but Wiggin manages to get the takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Wiggin has closed the distance and engaged Tump in a clinch.
Tump tries to pull guard but Wiggin holds him up against the cage and eventually Tump drops back down to his feet.

Wiggin has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tump uses from the top position.

Tump is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wiggin is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wiggin has escaped and now he's on top!

Andrew Wiggin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Tump throws a lazy head kick

and Wiggin counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wiggin pushes down on Tump's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Wiggin lands strikes from half guard.
Tump is not content to let Wiggin control the position.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Tump is looking to control Wiggin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tump avoid being mounted?

Tump jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wiggin walks away with a smile on his face. Tump gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Wro Tump has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Wiggin blocks a head kick by Tump.
Wiggin throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Wiggin plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Wiggin closes the distance and clinches.

Wiggin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tump stands and throws Wiggin's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Tump tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tump has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Tump is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wiggin sees it coming and defends easily.
Wiggin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Wiggin is pulling down on Tump's head to control his posture.
Andrew Wiggin has got the better of the ground game so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Wiggin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tump is one step ahead there.

Tump postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wiggin is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tump, into his guard.
Wiggin trying to control the position from guard on top but Tump is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Andrew Wiggin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Wiggin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tump's head.

I've got Wiggin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
