Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juana Play (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Play comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Wayne ft Chamillionaire - Rockstar. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Play tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Couture swivels and escapes.
Play throws a push kick but Couture slaps the foot to one side.
Play looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Play fails with a takedown attempt.
Play shoots in for a double leg but Couture sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juana Play. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Couture throws a low kick but Play moves out of range easily.

Couture moves into the clinch.
Play is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Couture gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Couture stops a takedown attempt from Play.
Couture lands a hook to the side of the head.
Play fails to pull guard.

Couture pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A punch combination from Play misses.
Couture slips under a jab from Play.

Couture fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Play sprawls well initially but Couture persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Play is looking to escape.
Couture looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Play with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Couture seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Play does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Play punching from the bottom.
Couture throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Couture looking for a submission but Play manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Couture is looking to stand up but Play won't let him.

Play is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Couture looking to sit in guard and control but Play gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Play prevents Couture from getting back to his feet.
Play postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Play is looking to stand up but Couture won't let him.
Play distracts Couture with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Play forces his way into half guard.
Couture really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Play. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Couture looks gassed!

Play is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Couture is defending against the submission attempts here by Play.

Couture is refusing to be controlled, as Play sits in half guard.
Play missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Play is looking for a kimura but Couture is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Play to get the leverage.
Play is nestled in close to Couture, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Play throwing shots but Couture is blocking nicely.
Play wants to pass the guard but Couture is defending well.

Play is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Couture is just riding it out for now. Play eventually gives up the hold.

Play has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Couture defend it? Play steps over the head and cranks it - Couture is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Play!
