Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brodie Lawrence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wandeco Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lawrence comes to the ring accompanied by Magic - B.o.B. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands a jab.
Lawrence tries to move into range but Silva moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Silva uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lawrence.
Lawrence swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Lawrence closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Lawrence pushes Silva against the ropes but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva blocks a low kick nicely.
Lawrence throws a jab when Silva was well out of range.
Lawrence throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lawrence shoots in but no luck this time.
Lawrence closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silva circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brodie Lawrence. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lawrence closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Lawrence pushes Silva against the ropes but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lawrence with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Silva to score with a decent uppercut.
Silva lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

and Silva counters by moving into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lawrence tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Silva just stands there and leans against the ropes.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lawrence jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Silva lunges at Lawrence with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lawrence's hand.
Silva sizes up Lawrence with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Lawrence. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Silva connects with a looping right hand.
Lawrence drops his hands momentarily and Silva takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Oh Lawrence is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lawrence.
Lawrence seems to have got his legs back now.
Silva breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lawrence looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lawrence throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Silva sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Silva is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Silva counters with a three punch combo that has Lawrence backing up. Lawrence nods at Silva to acknowledge the strikes.

Silva rushes Lawrence and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Wandeco Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lawrence tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch.
Silva connects with a nasty looking knee right to Lawrence's face.
It looks like Brodie Lawrence has been cut.
Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lawrence has hold of one of Silva's legs. Silva is fighting the takedown attempt but Lawrence gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Silva lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lawrence!

Silva is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lawrence can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Lawrence in real trouble here! The ref calls for Lawrence to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
