The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Rajamaki scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Well, if Rajamaki is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rajamaki wants to free his trapped foot but Pierre is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Pierre tries to kick Rajamaki off but Rajamaki keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Pierre really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rajamaki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rajamaki wants to pass the guard but Pierre is defending well.
Rajamaki is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Rajamaki prevents Pierre from getting the reversal.
Pierre is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Rajamaki looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Rajamaki controlling the position easily from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pierre has left one of his arms exposed and Rajamaki doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Pierre screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
