Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kato Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Boon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab from Hanzo.
Hanzo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Boon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Boon takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hanzo throws a nice inside leg kick.
Hanzo lands a glancing blow to the side of Boon's head.
Decent striking displayed by Hanzo there.
Hanzo cracks Boon with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hanzo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Hanzo dodges the punch combination from Boon.
Boon misses with a wild combination.

Boon shoots in but Hanzo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hanzo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Boon on the side of the head.
Hanzo explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Boon takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kato Hanzo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Boon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hanzo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hanzo stalks Boon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Boon's face. Boon staggers backwards, shaken.
A decent looking cross lands there for Hanzo.
Boon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hanzo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Boon is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hanzo.
Hanzo lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hanzo keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

and Hanzo counters with a nice uppercut.
Hanzo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Hanzo jabs Boon right on the nose. Boon blinks but takes it well.

Hanzo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Boon has time to react.
Hanzo is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Hanzo lunges at Boon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Boon's hand.
Boon takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Boon is rocked!
Hanzo throws a series of strikes that have Boon backpedaling.
Hanzo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Boon momentarily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Boon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Boon takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Hanzo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

A jab-cross combination lands for Hanzo and sends Boon crashing to the mat! Hanzo follows him down to the mat - Boon regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Hanzo works his way into side control.

Hanzo has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Boon is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hanzo yanks on the arm and Boon is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hanzo.
