Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kira Yamato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaka Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kira Yamato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shaka Zulu!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yamato has closed the distance and engaged Zulu in a clinch.
Yamato throws a head punch that misses.
Yamato misses with some punches.
Yamato misses with a punch on the inside.
Zulu blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Yamato misses with some punches.
A short right from Yamato on the inside.
Yamato scores with a shot to the side of Zulu's head.

Zulu is trying to maintain a safe position but Yamato gets an underhook and turns Zulu into the ropes.
A head punch on the inside from Yamato fails to land.

Zulu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Yamato uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zulu.
Zulu looks for a takedown but Yamato sprawls well.
Yamato fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Zulu on the side of the head.
Yamato moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Zulu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Yamato.
Yamato rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zulu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Good leg kick by Zulu there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Zulu drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Yamato on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yamato tries to get out of the position.

Yamato wants to stand and escape but Zulu is having none of it.
Zulu trying to control but Yamato is working from the bottom.
Zulu is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Zulu working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zulu sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Yamato's guard.
Well, if Zulu is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Zulu is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Zulu passes to side control.

Zulu is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Yamato looks calm but he's in trouble here. Zulu gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Yamato is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Zulu lets go of the hold and Yamato can pop his arm back in it's socket.
