PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Bravado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaze comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I'm on fire kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravado chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Blaze can pounce on him.
Blaze scores with a leg kick.

Blaze instigates a clinch.
Bravado tries to pull guard but Blaze holds him up against the cage and eventually Bravado drops back down to his feet.

Blaze breaks the clinch.
Blaze lands a jab-cross combination.
Bravado tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Blaze counters with a slapping leg kick.
Bravado misses with a takedown

and Blaze counters with a shoot takedown. Bravado fights it but they end up in guard.

Bravado is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Bravado working for a triangle but Blaze defends it easily.
Bravado looking to hit a scissor sweep but Blaze is one step ahead there.

Blaze gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bravado fails with the takedown
and Blaze makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Bravado. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Blaze changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bravado looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bravado is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Bravado sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Bravado is pressing down on Blaze's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bravado is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Blaze rolls with it to try and escape but Bravado cranks on the arm and Blaze is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
