The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morrison shoots for a double leg takedown but Irons sprawls well. He's pushed Morrison's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Morrison takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Morrison closes the distance and clinches up with Irons, looking for a takedown. Morrison pushes Irons against the cage but Irons circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Irons lands with an uppercut that bounces Morrison off the cage and back into rage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Morrison is controlling the position but Irons somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.

Irons tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Morrison was well out of range. Poor timing from Irons.

Morrison drops his hands momentarily and Irons takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Well Irons has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
