Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rainer Friiman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lande Paukku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paukku is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: A Country Boy Can Survive. Rainer Friiman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paukku shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Paukku slips a nice elbow through Friiman's hands, connecting with Friiman's forehead.
Friiman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Friiman tries to get out of the position.
Paukku takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Paukku moves nicely into side control.
Friiman is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Paukku asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Paukku should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Paukku content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Paukku wants to control but Friiman is keeping him busy.
Friiman is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Paukku has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Friiman avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Paukku.
Friiman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Paukku on the ground.

Paukku misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Paukku is staying tight to Friiman's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Friiman is not content to let Paukku control the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Friiman is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Paukku is controlling him well.

Paukku is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Friiman's shoulder. That is not cool.

Friiman is pushing Paukku's head away, looking to escape. Paukku manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Friiman is breathing heavily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Paukku changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Friiman tries to avoid it but Paukku manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Friiman to the ground. Friiman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Friiman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Friiman misses with a jab, cross combination.

Paukku shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Paukku showed some decent athleticism there.
Friiman is not content to let Paukku control the position.
Paukku seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Paukku lands a nice short elbow.
Paukku wants to control but Friiman is keeping him busy.
Paukku content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Paukku thows a huge punch but Friiman dodges it nicely.

Paukku looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Friiman won't allow Paukku to pass to mount.

Paukku doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Friiman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Paukku.

Paukku decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Paukku has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Paukku there as he acknowledges the shot.
