Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Al Capone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rocky Collins!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capone fails to land with a series of punches.
Capone scores with a jab to the body.
Collins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Capone.
Collins will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Collins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Capone paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Collins is trying hard to land a takedown here. Capone sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Capone scores with a decent looking hook.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Collins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Capone pinned against the cage. Capone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Capone is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Collins misses with a takedown attempt - Capone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Al Capone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Collins.
Capone ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Capone lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Collins backs up against the cage.
Collins looks gassed!
Collins fails with an attempt to clinch.
Collins showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Capone.
Capone throws a right hand that Collins ducks under and follows up with a left that Collins also avoids with ease.
Capone fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Collins looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Capone shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Collins eats them both and turns towards Capone to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Capone lands with a cross.
Capone's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Capone duly obliges.
A decent looking cross lands there for Capone.
Collins is rocked!
Capone connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Collins covering up! Capone comes in with a big uppercut and Collins goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Al Capone!
