And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Esko Nikkari!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coffinstuffer moves into the clinch.
Nikkari is stalling here.
Coffinstuffer jumps guard but Nikkari stands there with Coffinstuffer around his waist. Coffinstuffer gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Nikkari lands a knee to the body.
Coffinstuffer is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Nikkari gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Coffinstuffer blocks an elbow strike from Nikkari.
Coffinstuffer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kryptmaker Coffinstuffer. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nikkari looking to throw knees to the head but Coffinstuffer is blocking nicely.

Nikkari using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Coffinstuffer has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Coffinstuffer drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Nikkari gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Coffinstuffer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nikkari fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Nikkari wants to clinch

and Coffinstuffer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Nikkari wants to get back to his feet but Coffinstuffer is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Coffinstuffer is stalling in the full guard.

Coffinstuffer tries to free his leg and advance position but Nikkari is retaining full guard.

Coffinstuffer drops back looking for a leg! Nikkari is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nikkari manages to kick Coffinstuffer off! Coffinstuffer jumps back into Nikkari's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nikkari can do anything to dispel that myth.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Nikkari stuffs the takedown.

Nikkari fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Coffinstuffer, pushing him back against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Nikkari.
Nikkari connects with a nasty looking knee right to Coffinstuffer's face.
Coffinstuffer goes for a takedown attempt but Nikkari pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nikkari fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Coffinstuffer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nikkari wants to get back to his feet but Coffinstuffer is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coffinstuffer is looking to stand up but Nikkari won't let him.
Coffinstuffer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Coffinstuffer forces his way into half guard.
Nikkari looks like he's trying to stand up.

Nikkari pushes Coffinstuffer off, looking to escape but Coffinstuffer dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Nikkari is forced to tap! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kryptmaker Coffinstuffer!
