Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Clapton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaston Chevarie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clapton's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eric clapton - Layla. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clapton shoots in but no luck this time.
Chevarie slaps away a takedown attempt from Clapton, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Chevarie lands a jab to Clapton's midsection.
Chevarie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Clapton throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Chevarie looks to throw the jab but Clapton is out of range.
Clapton dodges the punch combination from Chevarie.
Chevarie on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Chevarie throws a shot from downtown. Clapton moves away and avoids it.
Clapton throws a nice looking combination but Chevarie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Clapton is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Chevarie to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Chevarie shrugs it off.

Chevarie wants to hold on but Clapton pushes him away.
Clapton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Chevarie is looking to escape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Clapton is really struggling to control Chevarie but he's trying to hold on to the position.

You can see the frustration on Chevarie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Eric Clapton dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Clapton fails with an attempt to clinch.
Chevarie takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Chevarie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Clapton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Chevarie throws a hook to the side of Clapton's head but Clapton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Clapton shoots for a double leg takedown but Chevarie sprawls well. He's pushed Clapton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Clapton walks into a stiff left hand from Chevarie.
Chevarie lands with an uppercut that bounces Clapton off the cage and back into rage.
Clapton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Clapton moves into range and clinches up with Chevarie.
Clapton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Horrible takedown by Clapton or perhaps it was just good defense by Chevarie which made him look bad.

Clapton misses with a takedown attempt - Chevarie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
