Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ilkka Wasama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taavi Liisteri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wasama kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Prodigy - Take Me to the Hospital. The crowd seem to be enjoying Liisteri's choice of entrance music: Solid Base - I like it. This should be fireworks!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Wasama.
Wasama wants to stand but Liisteri is controlling his arm.
Liisteri parries the strikes from Wasama easily there. Wasama is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Liisteri to escape.
Liisteri sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Wasama knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Liisteri on the ground.
Liisteri actively working from the bottom here.
Liisteri trying to hold on to Wasama's head to control him but Wasama postures up.
Wasama stands up from half guard.
A combination from Wasama does no damage.
Wasama closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Liisteri to the mat! Liisteri manages to get full guard.
Liisteri looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Liisteri escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wasama gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Liisteri has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wasama can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wasama is sitting in close to Liisteri's body. Liisteri has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Wasama is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Wasama is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Liisteri.
