Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Silvio Santos!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Santos does no damage.
Santos swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A solid body kick from Santos.
Turner shoots for a takedown but Santos saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Turner gets tackled into the cage by Santos. Santos maintains the clinch.

Santos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Santos leaves Turner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Turner shoots in looking for a takedown but Santos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Turner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trevez Turner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Santos throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Turner.
Turner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Santos pinned against the cage. Santos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Turner is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Santos is just riding it out for now. Turner eventually gives up the hold.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Santos tries to land a front kick but Turner steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Turner is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Santos to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Santos shrugs it off.

Turner wants to finish this one by submission but Santos is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Turner.

Turner jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Santos manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Santos lands a head kick. Turner smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Turner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Santos sprawls well. Santos wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Turner gets slowly back to his feet.
Santos fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Turner has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Santos lands with a kick to the temple. Turner shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Santos throws a head kick that half lands.
Santos throws a quick inside leg kick.
Turner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Santos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Turner somewhat.

Santos takes the fight into the clinch.

Santos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Turner takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Turner shoots in and drives through. Santos sprawls well.
Santos throws a head kick that Turner semi-blocks.
Santos fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Turner crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Santos - the referee stops the clock and Turner gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Santos. Turner manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Turner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Santos's waist but Santos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turner off to one side.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Silvio Santos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Santos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
