Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nova Uniao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Burton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burton looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Burton swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Burton uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Uniao.
Burton lands a body shot.
Burton doesn't manage to clinch there - Uniao circles away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Burton darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Burton pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Uniao takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Nova Uniao has been cut.
Uniao swats away the attempt to clinch by Burton.
Burton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Uniao moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Uniao throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Burton works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Uniao accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Burton has his foot on Uniao's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Uniao works his way back into a safe position though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A jab from Uniao finds it's way through Burton's defenses.
Uniao avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Burton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Uniao shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Burton but Burton pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Burton is pressed up against the ropes. Uniao has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Burton down to the mat. Burton avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Burton cracks Uniao with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Uniao looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Burton finish him?
Oh Uniao is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Burton takes a swing at Uniao's ribcage but misses.
Burton throws a low kick, looking for Uniao's leg but Uniao calmly moves out of range.

Burton digs a good body shot into Uniao's ribs.

Burton feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Uniao sprawling to the canvas! Uniao rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Burton finish him?!
Burton looks to land a left hand but Uniao moved out of range nicely.
Burton lands with a good body shot.
Jack Burton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Uniao is trying hard to land a takedown here. Burton sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
