Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown instigates a clinch.
Brown is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Brown goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bastard prevents it.

Brown has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bastard clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Brown has the hooks in. Bastard is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Brown connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Bastard to escape the position.

Brown working for a choke but Bastard is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bastard tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Bastard sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Brown seems to be looking for submissions.

Bastard escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bastard had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Brown is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bastard Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Brown's back instead.
Bastard is breathing heavily.
Brown breaks Bastard's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Brown is looking for a kimura but Bastard is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Brown to get the leverage.
Bastard makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bastard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Brown manages to capitalize on a mistake by Bastard to take his back!

Brown is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Bastard knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Bastard for a finish.

Brown is persistently looking for the submission but Bastard is defending it well.
