The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fairtex fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Olsson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fairtex tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Olsson is in Fairtex's guard.
Olsson is stalling in the full guard.
Fairtex is wriggling around but Olsson manages to pass to half guard.
Olsson passes to side control.
Fairtex is looking for a sweep.

Olsson decides to stand back up. Olsson steps back and let's Fairtex get back to his feet.
Jaidee Fairtex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fairtex throws a head kick but Olsson moves out of range.

Fairtex lands a big head kick that sends Olsson tumbling to the mat! Fairtex takes a step backwards and waves Olsson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Karate Olsson has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fairtex throws a head kick that misses.
Olsson avoids the head kick by Fairtex.
A thudding body kick lands there by Fairtex!
Olsson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Olsson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fairtex sprawls well initially but Olsson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fairtex is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Fairtex wants to control but Olsson is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Olsson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fairtex defends it well.
Olsson drops an elbow to the side of Fairtex's head.

Olsson decides to return to a standing position.
Fairtex throws a head kick that misses.

Fairtex looks gassed!
Fairtex throws a sloppy head kick and Olsson moves out of range easily.
Fairtex throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Olsson shoots in for a takedown but Fairtex shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fairtex throws a sloppy head kick and Olsson moves out of range easily.

Olsson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Olsson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Fairtex to see if he's OK.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fairtex is looking to get back to his feet here but Olsson is keeping cool and he's managed to take Fairtex's back.
Olsson is working the ground and pound. Can Fairtex escape?
Olsson scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Fairtex is looking for a way out.
Fairtex really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Olsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Olsson is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Fairtex with him. Fairtex is trying to defend but Olsson has an arm under the chin now! Fairtex grimaces and is forced to tap out!
