The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murdock throws the left hand but Adams avoids the punch easily.
Murdock misses with a kick to the body.
Murdock throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Murdock misses with a low kick as Adams jumps back.
Dr Murdock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murdock stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Murdock throws a lazy right hand but Adams sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Murdock swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Murdock throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Murdock cracks Adams with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Adams ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Adams closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Adams tries to close the distance and clinch but Murdock swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Murdock scores with a hook to the body. Adams takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Murdock, as that shot connected.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jab, jab by Murdock - just one landing.
Murdock scores with a crisp jab that stopped Adams in his tracks.
Adams is rocked!
Dr Murdock is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Adams takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Murdock connects with a body shot.
Murdock connects with a good right hand that stumbles Adams. Adams circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Oh Adams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Murdock pounces like a tiger and cracks Adams with a vicious hook! Adams is down but not out! Murdock follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dr Murdock!
