Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Banana Fly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauri Nyrkki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Banana Fly has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Banana Fly seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nyrkki dips to his left and cracks Fly with an uppercut!
Fly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nyrkki moves away.
Fly ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fly blocks a jab.
Nyrkki pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Nyrkki throws a jab when Fly was well out of range.
Nyrkki swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nyrkki moves away.
Nyrkki wants to clinch.
Nyrkki wants to land a leg kick but Fly is out of range.
Fly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nyrkki moves away.
Nyrkki tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Nyrkki loads up on a big right hand but Fly slips the punch.
Mauri Nyrkki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fly cracks a nice hook into Nyrkki's ribs.
Fly just misses with a punch to the body.
Fly fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Nyrkki looks gassed!
Nyrkki cracks Fly with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Fly moves to clinch but Nyrkki breaks away
and Nyrkki counters with a good low kick that Fly was not able to check.

Fly lands a nice looking body shot.
Fly forces Nyrkki back against the cage and clinches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fly creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Nyrkki struggles to land a body shot inside as Fly controls his hands.
Fly with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Fly lands an elbow just above Nyrkki 's eye.
It looks like Mauri Nyrkki has been cut.
Come on Fly - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Fly will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Nyrkki up against the cage.
Fly lands a nice elbow.
Fly connects with a nasty looking knee right to Nyrkki's face.
Fly controlling the action here for a moment.
Nyrkki digs a right hand into Fly's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Fly's gas tank.
Fly putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Nyrkki in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Fly's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Nyrkki tries to throw a body punch but Fly avoids it by throwing Nyrkki back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Fly lands a big knee to the head and Nyrkki goes down! Fly pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
